Kelsey's Book Log

I read the fictional books Fifty Shades Of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, and Fifty Shades Freed. The first book, Fifty Shades Of Grey, is a story about a rich man, Christian Grey, who wants to be in a relationship with a woman, Anastasia Steele but only on his terms. Ana doesn't know if she's willing to give him complete control over her and her body. Although, the more control she gives him the more secrets he shows and he let's Ana farther into his dark past. He's afraid of losing her if she finds out the full truth. He's never been afraid of losing anybody before. He's also afraid of being touched.

The second book, Fifty Shades Darker, shows us a little more of the dark Christian Grey's personality. He's fifty shades of messed up but after losing Ana he realises that he can't live without her. He let her shine some of her innocent light into his dark soul and he doesn't want to let that go. He asks Ana for a second chance. He wants to learn to let go of control. All he wants is to be with Ana. Christian thinks of himself as a messed up, evil human being but Ana doesn't think that way. She thinks he's just a guy who walked down the wrong path and needs a little light to guide his way back. Can Ana's light help Christian? Can Christian overcome wanting to be in control? Will they work out? And will Ana be able to cope through Christians' exes trying to kill her? Or her messed up boss who wants to get into her pants?

The third book, Fifty Shades Freed, is about Ana and Christian getting married. Christian is rich and wants to shower Ana with gifts and roses and everything he thinks she deserves but Ana doesn't want to be spoiled. She doesn't want to lose sight of the girl who was struggling through student loans. Christian is still trying to control his urges to be in control. He has told Ana all of his secrets and shown her the horrifying story of his dark past. She wants to fix his broken heart but she thinks the only way that she can do that is by giving him control again. Can their marriage work if she has no say in anything? Will she lose sight of the poor girl she grew up as? Will her ex-boss ever stop hunting her down? What will happen?

The books I typed about above are by E.L. James.

I read all the books in the series 'The Heroes Of Olympus'; The Lost Hero, The Son Of Neptune, The Mark Of Athena, The House Of Hades, and The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan.

The Lost Hero started off with a boy named Jason who wakes up on a field trip bus with no memory. The girl sitting next to him, Piper, is supposedly his girlfriend and the boy in the seat in front of him is Leo, his supposed best friend. He can't remember anything but something doesn't feel ride. He doesn't feel like these people have ever been in his life before he lost his memory. The field trip is to the Grand Canyon and when Piper, Leo and Jason are attacked by one of their classmates then rescued and brought to Camp Half-Blood Jason starts to question everything around him. He doesn't know what's true and who his real friends are but when Piper and Leo go above and beyond to help him he accepts them as family.

The Son Of Neptune starts off with Percy Jackson. He's fighting monsters but he only remembers that his name is Percy Jackson and Annabeth. He loves Annabeth and he'd do anything to get back to her. After fighting monsters that seem to find him wherever he goes he ends up at Camp Jupiter. He is finally freed from the monsters for now. He has to build up his reputation at Camp Jupiter if he ever wants to find his way back to Annabeth again. There's something wierd going on at Camp Jupiter, though. There's someone missing. Jason Grace is missing from Camp Jupiter. He just disapeared one day and nobody knows where he is. Is Percy missing from somewhere, too? Does Annabeth know where he is? He's determined to find Annabeth as soon as he can.
